This Houhin teapot and accompanying tray were handmade by Min Zhi Studio in Jingdezhen, China. The potter has only applied a thin layer of Fenyin (white slip glaze), allowing the clay beneath the glaze to reveal itself to the careful eye. There is a delicately-crafted filter on the inside of the spout, allowing for a smooth pour, while also preventing leaves from clogging the spout.
