This Gongdao Bei is made by Xiwu Studio, it has been designed with simplicity in mind, the final result of such a finish requiring a hidden level of complexity in skill from the potter.

As you may be able to spot in the photo, this gongdao bei has strong characters, featuring the unique patterns caused by deliberate cracking. These crackles will absorb the colour of tea and gradually it will be dyed. Over time you will see the slow change as you use it to brew your tea.

The lip has been crafted so that it pours cleanly and won't drip when drawing back, while the size and shape has been thoughtfully considered so it sits in the hand comfortably.
 
This gongdao bei includes a protective pouch, as seen in the final photo, to safeguard your teaware during transport. Designed for both convenience and reuse, it ensures your teaware remain secure wherever you go. Please note that the pouch colour will be selected at random.
